Visual appearance (Colour): Very clear, almost transparent white. Aroma: Lightly floral and persistent with farinaceous notes, which are better perceived retronasally. Taste (mouthfeel): Sweet, fine and elegant taste. Texture (Crystallization): Generally slow crystallization into fine crystals.

Acacia Honey

The acacia also known by the scientific name of robinia pseudoancia belongs to the fabaceae family, with a height of between 15 to 25 metres, with a wide crown and a white flower that later develops into legumes and resistant thorns that can be harvested in spring. Our organic acacia honey Bona Mel comes from beehives located in the great natural forests of Romania. It is a honey made by bees with the nectar of these flowers and is harvested during the months of April and May. Bona Mel organic acacia honey has a very light colour, a light and soft floral aroma and a sweet, fine and elegant taste.
