Our family, dedicated to beekeeping, decided to follow in the footsteps of their predecessors and undertake a new and ambitious project, committing themselves to the production of organic honey and by-products. This is how Bona Mel was born: a family project committed to organic beekeeping and the production of top-quality honey and by-products.

For the production of ecological or organic honey, the hives must be managed in a natural way and in order to obtain the seal that certifies this, it is necessary to comply with a series of requirements
FEEDING THE BEES
Our bees’ diet is based exclusively on honey and pollen from their own harvest, completely avoiding the use of non-organic sugars, flavor enhancers, or colorings.
This practice guarantees the highest quality of our honey and is essential for obtaining the organic certification.
BEEHIVE MANAGEMENT
The hives are cared for respectfully, limiting human intervention to allow the bees to carry out their activities naturally.
We meet all the requirements established for certified organic production.
OUR HONEY
At Bona Mel we produce an exquisite raw organic honey, a solid, hard, compact, crystallised and creamy honey.
